CSI Helpdesk

The Helpdesk duties include providing software support to end users via telephone, email and our chat-online services, completing and closing tickets, monitoring user forums for accuracy and content, updating and maintain FAQ’s as well as updating CSI e-newsletters.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Learning our software and assisting our customers in the operation of that software.
• Assisting customers in "troubleshooting" potential problems.
• Troubleshooting, testing and verifying reported problems; Devising solutions and workarounds, if possible.
• Meeting with the Support team to discuss trends of inquiries and items difficult to answer.
• Attending training sessions on new products and providing input for development of user manuals for these products.
• Making recommendations for enhancements to the CSI software.
• Reviewing and testing programs if asked by Quality Assurance team or Programmer to ensure that programs meet objectives and specifications.
• Alternate managing the 24 Hour support line

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, finance or another related field or a minimum of 4 years of intense work-related experience supporting multiple application software packages.
• Strong communication skills. Able to work closely with clients and internal staff to understand and communicate issues.
• Skilled in the use of the PC’s and related PC hardware, printers, scanners, etc.
• Skilled in Windows environment including Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.
• Experience with computer networks, remote access, and Internet based programs.
• Good analytical abilities.
• Basic Accounting knowledge.
• Good team player, but able to work on own initiative.
• Business or work experience with point-of-sale and accounts receivable is a plus.
