SELECTS CSI SOFTWARE
Houston, TX - January 19, 2007 CSI Software, the leading
provider of software and services for campus recreation centers, announced
today
that Lamar University has selected CSI Software's campus
recreation software for its new Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center.
Covering 131,000 square feet, the
$19 million facility includes several basketball courts; a multi purpose
court for such sports as roller hockey and indoor soccer; onetenth-mile
walking and jogging track; and racquetball, badminton, basketball and
volleyball courts.
The center also has a 43-foot climbing wall, a golf
putting green, an aerobics and dance studio and 13,000 square feet
of cardiovascular and free-weight training that will be the largest
in
the region. Other features include a health food café and juice
bar; study areas; lounge area with pool tables; and a game room with
air hockey, foosball, games and TV. Classrooms, offices and dressing
