OF IOWA CHOOSES CSI SOFTWARE
Houston, TX - Feb 21, 2006 The University of
Iowa in Iowa City, IA, has selected CSI Software's campus
recreation software for its recreation needs. The university will be using Member
Management, Facility Access, Point
of Sale, Inventory, Locker
Management,
Equipment
Checkout, and Scheduler. Initial plans call for the software to be installed
at the tennis center as the new recreation center is being built.
The
University of Iowa (UI) has plans to move several of its facilities to
make room for a new recreation center. The East Campus Recreation Center/Field
House Renovation project will construct a 150,000-gross-square-feet indoor
recreation facility and renovate UI's Field House. The project is estimated
to cost $55 million, which will be funded by the sale of revenue bonds
to be supported by student fees and non-student user fees. A number of
university structures and an 84-vehicle parking lot are currently at
the selected site.
