University of Texas Brownsville Selects CSI Software

• The University of Texas at Brownsville has selected Spectrum NG, by CSI Software as its new Campus Recreation Software system.

• The software will be deployed at the new Recreation, Education and Kineisology (REK) Center.

• The REK Center is a $25 million facility spreading over 150,000 square feet and is scheduled to open this March.

• The facility is planned to be a campus recreation zone, and include everything from classrooms, faculty offices, a motor development, exercise and physiology labs, as well as racquetball courts, a weight room and lap pool. Sports fields will surround the facility, making this the anchor of the campus recreational zone.
