Dues Increase Utility
The new Dues Increase Utility in SpectrumNG expands upon the existing Repetitive Rate Adjustment tool to give you more options when updating member dues amounts. Also with this tool, you can set increases in advance to take effect on a specific future date, so you no longer need to wait until the day of the increase to program them all.

Dues Increase Options
After you have named the increase and set the Effective Date, there are four main parameters that you need to set on the Dues Increase Utility screen. First, you set a Minimum Due and Maximum Due – indicating the member’s current monthly dues range that will be affected. Next you enter the Amount Increase – the flat amount that the dues will be raised from their current amount. Now you enter a Target Amount, which represents a cap that the dues increase utility will not exceed. For example, you can say that all members who currently pay between $35.00 and $55.00 each month will be increased by $10.00, but not to exceed $60.00 per month. Therefore, those who currently pay between $35.00 and $50.00 will get the full $10.00 increase, but those who pay between $50.01 and $55.00 will only be raised to $60.00.
The other options on this screen are filters for members you wish to include or exclude. First of all, the system will automatically exclude all members who have not yet reached the Renewal Date on their account. This is hard-coded in the system and cannot be changed. Other options are to exclude members who are still within one year of their Join Date, to include members who belong to specific Sites, Membership Types, certain Repetitive Item Codes, or certain Responsible Parties, and you can exclude members who are part of other responsible parties.
Once you have finished selecting options, you can click Preview to see a list of members who will be affected, then Save the increase so that the system can automatically process it on the date you selected.
