SpectrumNG tracks gross pay for commission-based employees throughout your facility. Use the Department Check-In feature to track time and attendance for hourly employees in any department, at any pay rate. It’s all in one report.
Set-up Options
Start by assigning an employee a Commissionable role from the Employee Setup screen. You can customize SpectrumNG to track commissions in different areas. Track exactly what you need to track.
While on the Employee Setup screen, assign a pay rate and specify departments an employee can clock in and out of.
Employees working multiple departments clock in or out on the Employee Setup screen.
Employee Commissions tracks hours worked, then multiplies by department pay rate.
Managers can add, delete or adjust an employee’s check-ins. |
Specify a commission rate for an item in Site Product Setup. The commission applies to the employee listed as the salesperson on the transaction line where the item was sold.
Sales commissions can be set as a flat amount or percentage rate.
Employee commission is awarded each time an item is charged.
Repeat items provide incentive for employees to retain member clients.

Customize series sales products to award commission on the sale of a package. And, if redeemed outside of Scheduler and Spa modules, automatically calculate pay for the employee performing each session.
Configure in Site Product Setup as a flat amount or percentage rate.
Percentage rate option calculates the percentage of each session in the package.

Scheduler and Spa Commissions |
SpectrumNG offers multiple options for setting up employee commissions in both Scheduler and Spa modules. Assign a commission level and determine a pay rate for each service. Flat rates can be configured similar to incremental fees paid by the customer, keeping everybody on the same page.
Accommodate different commission levels for the same employee.
Configure flat rates to recognize specific time increments booked, right through the designated maximum time.
Reservations rates can be calculated per participant, or based on the entire reservation.

The Scheduler module can create sliding scales for more flexible commission payouts. For any given period, specify a range of gross revenue for all participating services, along with a paid percentage of revenue. Then, choose a scale each employee falls under and which services contribute to the gross revenue figure.
Program Registration Classes |
Program Registration pays program instructors through a variety of methods. Employee Commissions flexes to meet the niche requirements of each class or instructor. Choose from one of the below options:
Percentage of overall revenue generated based on program end date.
Flat amount for the entire program based on end date.
Flat amount per class based on each class date.
Hourly rate each time an instructor teaches a class.

Run Reports and View Online |
Commissions are compiled based on the As Of Date entered on the Employee Commissions screen. As your pay period closes, run a custom report for any date range selected. Employees can view earned commissions through the On-Line Services Employee Portal throughout a given pay period.
Reports reflect the gross pay of each employee entered in the system.
Enter report information directly into your payroll system and eliminate manual calculations.
Archive after a commission run and create a smooth accounting transition to the next pay period. |
